The minimum age is 10 and older. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a waiver signed by an adult and must be accompanied by an adult. The adult must remain at the facility the entire time. If not throwing, the adult must have a seat outside of the throwing area.
Due to safety regulations, if you are not throwing axes, you are not allowed in the axe throwing area. We have a snack bar, as well as plenty of seating areas for your comfort.
Keep in mind that virtually anyone can participate from ages 12 and up, no reason you can’t join in on the fun!

Closed-toe shoes are required, NO EXCEPTIONS. We suggest wearing a shirt that gives you a full range of motion, as you will be throwing axes.
Our trained staff/coaches are there to demonstrate how to throw, as well as explain the rules and regulations of Route 22 Hatchet House. Your safety is our number one priority.
Tips are always appreciated, but never expected. The coach’s job is to ensure you have a safe and great time so you will return again and again with friends.
All bookings are subject to the Route 22 Hatchet House 48-hour cancellation policy. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule your reservation, as long as the staff is given a 48-hour notice, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a new selected date, whichever ever you prefer.
If you contact Route 22 Hatchet House with less than 48 hours’ notice, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your booking ONE time, at which time the deposit will be transferred to that date and time selected.
If your reservation is canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit is forfeited.
